Hello! I'm Erma and I'm a lady from Connecticut.
I'm in my early 40s and love it.
I adore my family and love to support them and their interests. I also cook a lot of meals for them, so you might see me share some of my favorites recipes or meal shortcuts on my blog.
In a nutshell- I love my favorite people, I love to sing, I love to make things with my hands, I love to support my community, it makes me happy to help others feel happy.
To elaborate on the nutshell-
I like to blab on about a lot of random things into the ether, and type it out on my blog, Auntie. If we all got rid of our social media apps tomorrow, you can still find me there and in my email inbox ( erma @ ermalabrador . com [plz remove the spaces!] ).
If you're elsewhere on the internet and bump into me there, feel free to connect.

I love to sing. I attempted music as a college major but saw no actual future in a performance career so I switched out of it. As a hobby, though, I'm all over it. The Chorus of Westerly has yet to kick me out so I'm there on a regular basis and enjoy every minute of it.
I'm still working towards an actual career, and I'm taking business courses at my local community college. My current goal is to achieve a degree that focuses on Nonprofit Management. I've worked and volunteered a lot of my time with nonprofits that I may as well combine my real-world experience and knowledge with my higher education to be able to do more good for communities.
I'm a board member for the Blue Mitten Thrift Shop in Westerly, Rhode Island. My position on the board isn't for bragging points, the thrift shop's proceeds support the Chorus of Westerly and I like to volunteer my time in the shop when I can.
I've been chronically online since my teen years, so I like to have fun in various corners of the internet. At the moment I'm gearing up to open a secondhand shop online, you'll find it at Depop.
I've dabbled in website design for many years. If you're a small business or have a service to sell and need a cute little website, I can help you with that.
I love my crafts. I like to make things and feel great satisfaction when I finish a project. I love giving handmade gifts, I love when I can fix something in my home (I fixed my dryer once; ask me how that went), and love giving old things new life.
I can never make a website and present myself as one single niche. I'm so many things rolled into one. If there's something I can help you with, please let me know. If not, I can probably help you find the right person. Shoot me an email if you'd like.
